I never imagined sheep could be so nosey — and so observant. We often think of them as quiet followers, but I’ve learned they’re far more independent and cautious than we give them credit for. They take their time, watch you carefully, and decide for themselves whether to trust you.

While I was out on a photo-hunt, this particular character caught my eye — or rather, it caught me. It stared at me with such intent that I couldn’t ignore it. Maybe it was curious, or maybe it just wanted to show off its stylish green crest — like a little punk rocker in the middle of the countryside.

So I took the shot. A moment of personality, attitude, and unexpected charm.
